Welcome to this year’s International Conference of the Oriental Medical Society! The International Society of Oriental Medicine (ISOM), established in 1976, aims to promote the research and development of traditional Oriental medicine. Through academic studies and knowledge exchange, ISOM advances Oriental medicine and elevates the status of traditional Eastern medicine globally, contributing to the health and well-being of humanity.
ISOM organizes its International Congress on Oriental Medicine (ICOM) every two to three years. Previous conferences have taken place in:

This year’s conference theme, “From Evidence-Based Medicine to Integrative Medicine,” focuses on how scientific evidence and big data can promote the integration and innovation of Eastern and Western medical practices.
In today’s healthcare system, the significance of evidence-based medicine (EBM) is undeniable. Through clinical trials, systematic reviews, and randomized controlled trials, we establish scientific foundations for various treatments. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has also adopted rigorous research methodologies to validate its effectiveness. Techniques such as acupuncture and herbal therapy are increasingly integrated into clinical practice following international standards, receiving global recognition.
The rise of big data has brought unprecedented breakthroughs in medicine. Through electronic medical records (EMR), health data analysis, and AI-assisted diagnostics, we can precisely quantify treatment outcomes, predict disease risks, and create personalized treatment plans, achieving data-driven medical decision-making. In this context, combining the experiential wisdom of traditional medicine with modern technology presents significant opportunities for comprehensive healthcare solutions.
This year’s conference will explore:
- Applications of Big Data in Integrative Medicine: From traditional Chinese medical databases to modern AI applications.
- Evidence-Based Models for TCM: How clinical trials and data analysis can enhance treatment efficacy.
- Future Trends in Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Innovations in mental health, preventive medicine, and cancer treatment.
We hope that the insights shared by experts and scholars will inspire cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovation. With a foundation of scientific evidence and the power of big data, we believe we can collectively drive medical advancements and shape a healthier future for the world.

歡迎大家蒞臨本屆東洋醫學會學術大會！國際東洋醫學會（International Society of Oriental Medicine）簡稱ISOM，成立於1976年。其創會之目的以提倡傳統東方醫學之研究發展為宗旨，利用學術研究與訊息互相交流來發揚東洋醫學，提高東方傳統醫學在國際上的發展及地位，以增進人類健康。
國際東洋醫學會以後約每隔兩到三年舉辦一次學術年會(ICOM)，分別在美國 (拉斯維加斯：1998.7.24-26）、瑞士（洛桑：1983.4.12-15）、南韓(首爾：1977、1988.11.7-9、1995.11.10-12、2001.10.11-14、2012.9.14-16、2023.9.16-17；大邱：2005.10.20-23；慶州：1980.9.25-27)、日本(東京：1985.10.18、1999.4.27-28、2010.2.26-28；京都：1990.10.19-21；沖繩：2016.4.15-17)、台灣(台中：1992.11.20-22；台北：2003.11.6-9、2007.12.1-4、2014.11.1-3、2017.11.24-26)舉行。
今年的主題「從實證醫學到整合醫學」，聚焦於如何以科學實證與大數據的力量推動東西醫學的深度融合與創新。
在當今醫療體系中，實證醫學（EBM）的重要性不言而喻。透過臨床試驗、系統性回顧與隨機對照試驗，我們能為各種治療手段建立科學依據。近年來，中醫藥也逐步採納這一嚴謹的研究方法，以期確立其療效的客觀性。我們看到針灸、草藥治療等中醫技術，正逐步融入國際標準的臨床實踐中，並獲得來自世界各地同行的認可。
除此之外，大數據技術的興起為醫學領域帶來了前所未有的突破。藉由電子病歷（EMR）、健康大數據分析和人工智慧輔助診療，我們不僅能精準量化治療效果，還能進一步預測疾病風險、個性化治療方案，實現「數據驅動的醫療決策」。在這一趨勢下，中醫的經驗智慧與現代科學技術的結合，更具潛力為患者提供整合性健康解決方案。
本次大會將深入探討：
大數據在東西醫整合中的應用：從傳統中醫資料庫到當代人工智慧的應用；
科學實證支持的中醫治療模式：如何通過臨床試驗與數據分析提升療效；
多學科協作的未來趨勢：在心身健康、預防醫學、癌症治療等領域中的創新融合。
